It also called Welded Body Ball Valve, as the body is fully welded. The fully welded body ensures that no external leakage path from valve body. All welding processes are qualified and performed according to ASME Section IX. The welding for the valve body is to performed with Non-destructive tests.

Fully Welding Trunnnion Ball Valve, also named welded body ball valve, can offer the maximum strength with the minimum weight, as well as the maximum resistance the both pressure and stresses on the pipeline system. The compact spherical design eliminates the body flanges part, thus reducing the overall size and the leakage points, without the potential of fugitive emission from the flanges.


Normally, the Fully Welding Trunnnion Ball Valve are widely used in the natural gas transmission for the underground and buried installation. To make sure the sealing performance, there are various testing procedures on the valves, furthermore, the Visual, Magnetic Particle (MT), Ultrasonic (UT) and Radiographic test (RT) should also be conducted for the welding seams, if required.
